Apple Tech Support +1-800-210-6150 Phone Number To Solve Your Issues By Apple Technical Support Experts

My computer takes forever to boot up and shutdown, just how to fix it?

The symptoms that this question list is classic Windows applications related. Even an HDD, even an HDD experiencing decaying reliability, won't demonstrate the symptoms as described.
One-person properly states that disrupting a boot, or a closed down, sequence by holding down the power' button may substantially distress Windows computer software. Registry errors will also make boot up and power down sequences long or wrapped. The suggestion which HDD's might be in charge of a red herring, '' as is'malware' proposal. Windows is capable of getting its knickers in a knot without faulty hardware, or even malware.
It is advisable to stop interrupting it. Boot into safe mode, and do some checks on the config.exe usefulness, to find out what is loading at set up. Inside my (long time) experience with Windows operating systems, this sort of issue is best resolved with a clean install'.
Leave the hard drive alone, it has got enough problems already needing to sponsor a Windows operating system.
What's my Windows 8.1 laptop running slow even though it's anti-virus and 8 GB RAM I 7 at 2 GHz speed?
But first, join your accounts in safe mode. If your personal computer continues to be slow then it is most probably a hardware problem or even your own boot-sector infection. And so for that, you will need to do a hardware test (free applications available) or install a better antivirus/antimalware applications (Avast and AVG are liberated and they are good).

If not, the matter is definitely using a program or applications and to find out which one you can...

  •  1st check if you have malware or virus problem or not. Utilize Avast or AVG or even Windows Defender or some further good antivirus/malware software. The majority are available for free and are all good. [Jump this as you have an antivirus ]
  • If that is not the problem, your system needs to be optimized. Use an optimizing solution like (YAC - Another cleaner, designed free of charge ) that may assess for trash files, registry junks, and invalid entries, etc.. They slow down the computer as well.
  • Still not working. .then...
  • Make sure that you have enough room on your primary driveway. Almost no distance on the bootable drive can slow down the computer.
  • Nevertheless not working. then... This is really a bit geeky. Go to windows run (Winkey + ep ) and type msconfig. It'll start a fresh window, under the start-up tab, preferably uncheck whatever you do not wish to conduct during start-up. Also, go to the services tab page and check"Hide all Microsoft services" and then uncheck all of the services you don't wish to conduct at start-up. Save the changes and then reboot.
  • Nevertheless not working.then... Perform a hard disk drive defragmentation.
  • Still not working.then...
  • Assuming your windows will be installed on c:
  • 6 & 5 may take the time if you've got a large c: drive.
  • Nevertheless not working.then...
  •  Attempt to do something restore (return the computer into a known date and time when it was booting fine). VERY IMP: This can uninstall most of the settings and apps which you've installed after date and time. However, it will not delete your own personal documents and files and it is reversible in case it will not work.
  • And eventually...
  • IF ALL THESE FAILS. .then you are most likely left with the very dreaded alternative. . .yeah you browse my mind. .TIME TO BACKUP DATA AND GO FOR the Best TROUBLESHOOTING STEP--FORMAT AND REINSTALL!
  • Hope this can help.
